Seeing potential where others cannot – this is one of Kim’s many unique talents. In addition to being a gifted Professional Stager, she has a decidedly accomplished approach to accessory design, distinctive interior redesign, and is an able and enthusiastic user of power tools. Kim makes five dollar items look rich and expensive.
Kim is currently working toward her Staging Accreditation and Interior Design Certification. Hailing originally from Ainsworth, Nebraska, Mrs. Trobee uses a variety of life experience in her work. Her college major was Broadcast Journalism. Previously in her career she has been a news reporter, a small business owner/operator, a professional organizer, a scrapbooking expert, an instructor on various crafting endeavors, a radio disc jockey, a weathercaster, and a professional speaker.
Her passions lately include re-purposing of old furniture and found objects into useful furnishings and accessories, art in any form, construction, reading up on politics, crafting, scrapbooking, and, of course, using power tools for any reason.

A native and lover of Colorado Springs, Kinsie has an Associates Degree in Interior Design and is also one of our experienced Professional Stagers. Just about everything Kinsie does revolves around Staging and/or Interior Design and Re-Design.
In addition to being an abstract and contemporary art painter, Kinsie also is a master bargain shopper, re- designer of clothing, window treatments, furnishings, and anything else she can envision. Kinsie has been known to design and create chandeliers and accessories at the drop of a hat.
In her formative years, rather than play Barbies with her three sisters, she would build the Barbies houses. This was the first indication that her future probably lay in some type of career related to planning, architecture and design. Kinsie gets pretty excited about putting together a good space plan, drawing perspectives and rendering them, and seeing them through in actual execution.
On the rare occasions when she is not working in relation to interior design, re-design or staging, Kinsie writes songs, poetry, plays guitar and piano, and dreams of accomplishing much in the world of interior design. |
